The second half of a PMU result

Permanent makeup is not finished when you leave the first appointment. Skin heals unevenly, some pigment is retained and some is not, and the honest picture only appears after several weeks. The touch-up is where the result is completed: shape is refined, color is adjusted for how your skin actually took the pigment, and density is added where healing left it thin. Most PMU work needs this session to reach its final quality.

Who can book this service

This appointment is available only to clients whose initial PMU session was done with us, one to three months ago. That limit exists because a touch-up builds on known work — your artist needs to know what pigment was used, at what depth, and how your skin responded. If you had your PMU elsewhere, or you are new to us, book Powder / Ombre Brows or Lip Blush instead, and contact us first if you are correcting previous work.

What your appointment looks like

Your artist reviews how the first session healed before deciding anything, comparing the healed result against the original plan. Adjustments follow: shape refined, color corrected, density built where needed. It is shorter and gentler than the first session because it is refining rather than building from nothing. The $50 deposit goes toward the $150 price.

When to book it

Four to eight weeks after your first session. Earlier than that and the skin has not finished healing, so any judgment about color would be made on incomplete information. Much later and the window for a touch-up price closes. The same preparation applies as for the first session: no alcohol or caffeine for 24 hours, and no intense sun, tanning, or retinol near the area in the preceding week.

Questions we get asked

Do I need a touch-up?

Most clients do. Skin retains pigment unevenly during healing, and this session is what turns a good first result into a finished one.

I had my PMU somewhere else. Can I book this?

Not this service — it is reserved for work we did ourselves. Contact us before booking and we will tell you honestly whether we can help with a correction or cover-up.

How soon after my first session?

Between four and eight weeks. Any earlier and the skin is still settling, so the color you would be matching is not the color you will keep.

Will it hurt more than the first session?

Usually less. There is less work to do and numbing is used throughout, as in the first appointment.
