Lip blush deposits soft pigment into the lips to enhance their natural color, even out tone, and give the edge quiet definition. It is not lipstick and it is not a lip liner tattoo — the aim is a healthier, more awake version of your own lips, visible without makeup and invisible as a treatment. Depth is built in layers, so the strength of the result is a decision you make together with your artist.
Who this service suits best
It works well for pale, uneven, or cool-toned lips, for lips whose border has softened over time, and for anyone tired of reapplying lip color through the day. If you like a strong lipstick look, this will not replace it — lip blush enhances what is already there rather than painting over it.
What your appointment looks like
Your artist assesses your natural lip tone first, since undertone drives the color choice more than any shade you might pick from a chart. Shape and color are agreed before starting. Numbing is applied and pigment is implanted in gradual layers. Lips swell during and after the session and look considerably brighter at first — both settle over the following days. The $50 deposit applies toward the $400 total.
How to prepare, and who should not book
Avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours beforehand, and avoid intense sun, tanning, and retinol near the area in the week before. Tell us if you get cold sores, as lip work can trigger them and this is worth planning around. Lip blush is generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, during chemotherapy or radiation without medical clearance, within a year of Accutane use, if you are prone to keloid scarring, or with an active skin condition in the area.

How long does it last?
One and a half to two years, fading gradually rather than disappearing. Healed results depend on skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare, and may need more than one session.
Will the color be as bright as it looks on the day?
No — and it should not be. Lips look brighter and fuller immediately afterwards because of swelling. The healed result is considerably softer, which is the result we are actually working toward.
I get cold sores. Can I still book?
Tell us before booking. Lip work can trigger an outbreak, so it is something to plan around with your doctor rather than discover afterwards.
Can it correct uneven lip tone?
Evening out tone is one of the main reasons clients book it, along with adding definition to a border that has softened over time.
